kuching is the best destination every year ...many culture and historical place can see and visited,we can start from kuching,and others small town/the road also good ,easy travel from other place and connected area each others.even some kampung provided homestay for visitor just paid a small fee for 1 or 2 days example like long house at annahrais,its very peaceful place and cool and fresh air with green view..annah rais very old house in kuching ,i think annah rais long house same the time sarawak rajah james brooke/.
